Acts of Love winter outreach programme
MIDRAND - As winter approaches, many people in our communities lack warm winter clothing and blankets to survive the cold.
Acts of Love, a faith-based charity organisation, asks Midrand residents to take part in an outreach programme aimed at making a difference.
Event organiser Cindy Naidoo said, “Acts of Love is having their 5th annual winter outreach drive to hand out blankets, woollen hats, gloves and warm meals to the less privileged people within Midrand.”
The charity aims to give warm clothing to the community for over 4 000 people and is asking the public to donate money towards the purchase of winter clothing and a meal for people in need. Naidoo urged the community to get involved in making a difference to the many families that won’t have much this winter.
