Young South African Awards celebrate Midrand’s own

IVORY PARK - Ivory Park-based community outreach foundation, Life4U, has received national recognition for their efforts in the area.

 

Their project manager and founder, Simon Molekwa, has been nominated for the Young South African of the Year award hosted by the news station, ANN7.

Molekwa was proud to announce the news through Midrand Reporter, “The paper has supported us and let the Midrand community know of the work that we do.”

He also said the community could pull through for them by using voting lines to show their support. The foundation provides disaster relief, poverty relief and youth development services. They also work with unemployed youth in Ivory Park and Tembisa.

The awards and the announcement of winners will be held on 17 October at Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg.
