About 160 houses were reached during the campaign. Midrand police spokesperson Matome Tlamela said, “The aim of the campaign was to address these three crimes that often take place in Vorna Valley.”
Residents were informed about safety in their homes to avoid housebreakings and robberies, and were given telephone numbers for police patrol vans and contact details for the sector manager of the area.
Tlamela added that the campaign was a huge success and the community was delighted to see the police visibility around them.
