Parents and pupils enjoyed a day of fun activities and all kinds of treats. The event had a variety of treats for people attending the fun day ranging from the soap box derby, stalls with food, a clothing stall run by local businesses and entrepreneurs, a jumping castle, cotton candy, face painting and a modelling competition.
The event started with all grades marching around the sports ground to showcase banners and their colourful T-shirts.
Teacher Estelle Pretorius said they had a great time.
Principal Silas Pillay said, “We had a phenomenal response from the community with regard to the hiring of stalls, with over 20 stalls being booked on the day. We are delighted at the opportunity of being able to promote small medium enterprises in our community though such an event.”
Pillay thanked the staff of the school, parents and pupils who made the day a success, Midrand Fire Station who were there to ensure safety, sponsors of the jumping castle, gazebos and security companies and everyone who participated.
