Midrand SPCA will close on some days over holidays

The manager of the society, Elsje Naicker said, “We also wish to extend sincere gratitude to all who continue to support Midrand SPCA and we hope to carry this relationship of working together to care for animals into next year. We want to take this opportunity to wish everyone in the community a great holiday season.”

The SPCA will be closed on the following dates:

•  16 December – Public holiday
•  24 December – Closes at 12pm midday and opens 28 December
•  31 December – Closes at 12pm midday and opens 4 January next year.

During the period when the shelter is closed, there will be an inspector on call to assist with animal-related emergencies. Inspectors Jerry Seemise or Theo Mokgatle can be reached on 083 441 1565.

A staff member will be at the pound during this period to receive injured, abandoned or stray animals.
