Have you lost a pet in Midrand?

MIDRAND - Over the festive season, five stray dogs were brought to Midrand SPCA after being distressed by fireworks and running away from their homes.

Fortunately, two of the dogs have now been reclaimed and two others are to be claimed once owners return from holiday.

Chairperson of Midrand SPCA, Brenda Lucas said, “There still seems to be a number of pets missing since the festive season. If you have lost your pet in Midrand or the Midstream area, it may be in the shelter’s kennels. Please come and check, a distressed animal can cover a vast area.”

If you found a stray animal during the festive season, please contact Midrand SPCA so that the pets can be reunited with their owners.

Details: E-mail a picture with the description of your lost pet to info@midrandspca.co.za so it can be circulated.
