Money to boost learning at Rebonwe Primary School

MIDRAND - Trinco, a tea manufacturing company, through its Brighter Tomorrow Challenge for schools, recently awarded R20 000 to Rebonwe Primary School in Ivory Park.

 

Rebonwe Primary was one of the schools which participated in a competition to see who could collect the most empty packets of Trinco tea.

Brand manager, Matheo Dube said the winning school received R50 000, eight schools received R20 000 and eight more schools each received R5 000. All the pupils in all the schools received backpacks.

Dube added, “Trinco would like to thank all schools, pupils and teachers who collected the packs… Trinco believes in improving the infrastructure at schools so pupil’s learning experiences improve.”

The school principal, Mamoyahabo Thlabana said, “Thank you to Trinco for the money they gave the school. We managed to buy, among other things, computers and a video camera.”
