Two people have been shot dead outside the recently opened Mall Of Africa in Midrand.
According to reports, the shooting is linked to taxi violence.
Colonel Lungelo Dlamini confirmed that it was a drive by shooting of two men near an entrance at the mall.
Dlamini said, “Two men have been shot dead at around 6pm this evening. Suspect or suspects were driving a white VW Polo. Police believe that the deceased men are be taxi bosses however they still need to verify the information. No arrests have yet been made and suspects are still at large.”
