Christ Church Preparatory School and College in Midrand held a family fun day with hundreds of pupils and parents in attendance.
Christ Church to host a production by pupils
The day began with a 2km and 5km fun run and walk.
Race participants ranged from parents with prams, little preschoolers, older pupils and parents, with each person receiving a medal upon completing the race. Many activities were on offer on the day for the children such as a giant slide, cycle track, Ferris wheel, wipe-out balls, a carousel, wrecking ball and a foam pit.

Admission to the rides area was R120 per child, with armband sales and other money raised from the event contributing to the school’s running and maintenance costs.

Head of marketing at the college, Hlengiwe Shakung, said the school was thankful to everyone who attended the fun day, the volunteers who assisted at the different stalls, the multiple sponsors of the event and the fundraising committee.
