Bomb threat at The Carlswald Lifestyle Centre

JOBURG - Tintswalo Properties receives three bomb scares

Sergeant Matome Tlamela of Midrand police has confirmed that no bomb was found at the Carlswald Lifestyle centre. She explained that a bomb squad had swept the area and nothing was found.

General manager of Tintswalo Properties, Michelle Townsend has confirmed that three of their centres have received bomb scares, namely; The Carlwald Lifestyle centre, Bellairs Mall and Lonehill Shopping Centre.

Townsend confirmed that all three centres have been evacuated and a bomb squad was currently at the scene.

Sergeant Matome Tlamela of Midrand Police Station confirmed that police were currently at the scene.

Police will comment on findings after search has been completed.

Motorists have been urged to avoid the areas and use alternative routes.
