Midrand Police Station is calling on all outstanding firearm licence holders to visit the station following a recent backlog in the printing of cards.

Spokesperson for the Midrand Police Station, Sergeant Matome Tlamela said the normal turnaround time for the printing of cards is a maximum of four months.
“Currently we are still experiencing a backlog in cards which are not yet printed and those approved need to apply for reprints which takes between two to three weeks,” Tlamela said.
