Halfway House Primary School’s message for Christmas

MIDRAND – A Christmas message from a local school...

Halfway House Primary School principal, Silas Pillay has described this year as a memorable and commemorative one for the school.

“As we reflect on the occurrences of the year – the joys, successes and challenges, we are thankful to God for His divine favour and grace that He has bestowed upon our learners, staff and parents. As a school and community, we can testify to the many blessings that have been bestowed upon us and we look forward to 2017, which we are sure will see us taking many more giant strides forward,” he said.

Pillay took pride in the strategic partnerships, collaborations and networks forged by the school with relevant parties in order to facilitate the enhancement of the school as an institution.

“My message to the learners and to every member of the community is that the formula for fulfilment is to always do your very best and to do the right thing, even when no one is watching.

“In addition, remaining humble and treating other people as you would want to be treated will keep you grounded and make you a viable human being in this journey of life. Where there is unity, our divine Father will command a blessing on any institution which strives for this ideal.

“I wish every member of the community a blessed festive season and a new year overflowing with joy, peace and happiness. May each of us grow more into the person that God intended us to be, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. God bless.”
