Midrand SPCA needs help

MIDRAND – The Midrand Spca has called on the community to assist in helping them find a container.

The Midrand SPCA has called for the support of the community in its desperate need for a second-hand container to house the association’s bookshop and as a space for when they hold their jumble sales.

The association said it needed a container because their Wendy houses were old and falling apart.
Brenda Lucas of the SPCA said the bookshop and jumble sales were vitally important to the association because they generate much-needed income each month to help pay the bills.

“The cost of a container is R20 000 – which we just don’t have – therefore, if anyone knows of a company that can assist us, it would be greatly appreciated because we have approached a number of container companies, but without luck,” concluded Lucas.
Details: Midrand SPCA 011 265 9935.
