Curro Waterfall and the Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa (CHOC) joined forces to support International Childhood Cancer Day on 15 February.
The day was held in conjunction with Valentine’s Day to celebrate and commemorate children who suffer or have suffered from cancer.

Schoolchildren paid R10 to wear blue and white clothes on the day to represent the colours of the foundation. R1 500 was raised on the day and donated to the foundation.
“As a thank you for the children’s participation and donations, Curro Waterfall gave every child a CHOC chocolate,” explained Jackie Waite, marketing and communications manager of the school.
