Transnet Freight Rail invites all small and emerging enterprises, to submit their relevant company details in order to expand our tender capabilities to businesses in South Africa.
Workshops will be held at various locations across South Africa on planned dates on an invitation only request.
These supplier workshops are for existing and new suppliers to clarify the following:
- The structure of Transnet
- Transnet’s tendering processes
- Transnet’s approach to Black Economic Empowerment and Supplier Development
- Getting hold of Transnet’s tender documents
- Understanding tender documents
- Information to submit with tender responses
- Tips for successful tendering

Please note that only those who have fully submitted the required information via the above link by the closing date will be eligible for an invitation. An invitation will be sent directly to you from the representative of Transnet Freight Rail for the following dates for Johannesburg:
Session one: Existing Transnet Freight Rail Suppliers, will take place on Monday, June 5, at 10am.
Session two: Potential Transnet Freight Rail Suppliers, will take place on Tuesday, June 6, at 10am.
