Hlengiwe Shakung from Christ Church Preparatory School and College has congratulated the matric class of 2017.
“They maintained the school’s 100 per cent pass rate, whereby 33 out of 35 students obtained university entrance passes, whilst the other two qualified to study for diplomas,” said Shakung.
“Our top student was Tom Doran who obtained seven distinctions whilst Terri Golding obtained four distinctions. A special mention for Kwadwo Afrane-Okese who obtained 96 per cent for core maths and a distinction in advanced programme maths.”
Helngiwe said these three top students have been shining in their respective subjects throughout the year and the school was pleased that they went on to do well even in their final results.
