Johannesburg Water aware of water outages in Midrand area

Residents have taken to social media to complain of water outages in the Midrand area, including Halfway House.

According to this resident, Halfway House has been without water for three days:

It's been 3 days without water in Midrand, Halfway House. When can we expect water?

Johannesburg Water has said that they are aware of the water outages in Midrand but have not yet communicated the cause or an estimated restore time.
