Carlswald headmaster gets taped to the wall by learners

The headmaster agreed to be taped to the wall if the learners read 22 000 pages in five days.

Carlswald House Preparatory School learners were challenged to read 22 000 pages collectively during the school’s book week.

Headmaster Stewart Tagg promised if this goal was reached, he would agree to be taped to the wall and read a story while hanging from the wall to the entire school.
The book week was held from May 9 to 13, and each class from Grade 1 through Grade 7 counted how many pages they had read during that time frame.

Their achievement went beyond the 22 000 pages goal, as they surpassed 23 365 pages, and this deserved only one thing – tape the headmaster to the wall.
