53 healthcare workers graduate from Chrismorg Consulting Firm

The ceremony was held on March 21, which was extra special for the Midrand-based firm since it was also commemorating Human Rights Day.

A graduation ceremony at Tumelo Home honoured 53 students from Chrismorg Consulting Firm.

The ceremony was held on March 21, which was extra special for the Midrand-based firm since it was also commemorating Human Rights Day.

Chrismorg is an educational, training and development training provider in the health science and welfare sector. Midrand philanthropist Dr Eli Matjuda-Shadung helms the organisation.

They train community health workers with essential skills to work as health promoters and caregivers in different healthcare facilities.

Guest speakers from local organisations inspired students about the importance of service. Speakers from Philane NPO, Country-wide Uncedolwabantu, GCI Church, Lethukukhanya, and Joburg Child Welfare were all present to celebrate the graduates.

Mothibi Ramusi, one of the many speakers, says it was encouraging to observe the smiles and excitement emanating from the young and middle-aged professionals receiving competency certificates.

Midrand philanthropist and Chrismorg Consulting Firm CEO Dr Eli Matjuda-Shadung speaks at the graduation ceremony.

“Education remains one of the powerful tools that unlock business opportunities and sustains growth. South Africa and the rest of the world require an army of competent health workers to keep us alive and most importantly, aware of our well-being

“Given the rate of unemployment in SA, it is my wish that they get absorbed into the mainstream of the health sector. However, there is nothing that stops them from teaming up, collaborating and establishing a health institute.”

Chrismorg CEO Dr Shadung thanked the guests for their support and attendance, especially her alumni students for allowing her to inspire them with a strong passion for learning.

“There are not enough words to express how grateful I am to you for your patience in waiting for the Health and Welfare Sector Education and Training Authority to give you your certificates. Skills are central to improving employability and livelihood opportunities, reducing poverty, enhancing productivity and promoting sustainable development.”
