Easter Bunny visits Kyalami community to celebrate Easter at Castle Kyalami
The celebration attracted many locals who were eager to participate in the famous Easter Egg hunt.
Over 250 local community members and children all gathered at the Church of Scientology’s Castle Kyalami to celebrate Easter Sunday on April 9.
The heart-warming celebration was filled with an Easter egg hunt, a braai, board games, bouncy houses, a visit from the Easter bunny, and many other activities to celebrate the Easter Weekend observed throughout the world.

Scientology’s spokesperson Sandile Hlayisi said locals extremely enjoyed the celebration as some even came to him to admit that it was a breathtaking event.
“Community members came to me and told me how their children absolutely loved the Easter Egg hunt at a real-life castle and that they couldn’t have asked for a better Easter celebration than here with their families and community,” explained Hlayisi.
Alice Meiring, community affairs for the church said Castle Kyalami is also a community centre. “We are all privileged to be playing our part in the community in honouring this religious event. As the church, we saw it fitting to bring the whole community together to celebrate Easter together properly after being unable to do so due to the recent pandemic,” said Meiring.
