Members are positive that early morning training will pay off

The Midrand Crew organised weekend runs to prepare members for national marathons such as the Comrades, Soweto and Two Oceans Marathons.

Midrand Crew hosts training runs in Carlswald, Midrand. The starting point is at Carlswald Shopping Centre at 04:30 on weekdays and 05:40 on weekends.

The crew hosts training sessions for them to increase their running pace.

Runners also receive personal best time (PB) medals as a symbol of motivation. Thulani Mbele, the team coordinator said, “We give them medals as a token of appreciation. This is to congratulate them for an amazing performance since the year started.”
