Curro Midrand Halfway Gardens Primary School is thrilled to share some news about one of its young and talented learners, Siyabonga Khumalo.

During the December school holidays last year, Siyabonga travelled to Germany as part of a group of 22 soccer players of different age groups.

The team had the opportunity to visit various football clubs in Germany and receive training from renowned and influential football coaches and players.

The clubs that the team visited include FK Pirmasens, Mainz, FSV Frankfurt, Bayer Leverkusen, Karlsruher SC, SV Waldhof Mannheim, and Hauenstein.

Siyabonga, who was the youngest among the group, made a lasting impression on everyone with his exceptional skills and talent.

He is a rising star in the soccer world, with aspirations of playing overseas in the future.

Back at home, Siyabonga plays with the SuperSport United Academy, and his school is incredibly proud of his achievements.

During the trip, Siyabonga had the honour of receiving a soccer jersey from FSV Mainz 05.

The school is excited to see what the future holds for Siyabonga, as they continue to support him in his journey towards his dreams.
