Sienna Liu, a Grade 4 learner, is carving out her musical journey with remarkable fervor.
Her commitment to excellence and a passion for music have not gone unnoticed, as she continues to accumulate accolades that highlight her exceptional abilities.
Recently, on July 14, Sienna was invited to the annual South Africa Society of Music Teachers (SASMT) prize-giving gala concert where the top achievers from the recent Eisteddfod performed and received trophies.

Among the accolades she received were the prestigious Estresia Labuschagne Trophy for Best Wind Recital, which was open to participants of all ages, and the Diane Heller Trophy for Junior Wind Player in the U13 category, which she clinched for the second consecutive year.
These recognitions are not merely trophies, they symbolise the countless hours Sienna has devoted to perfecting her craft.
In addition to her accolades, Sienna’s performances at the SASMT Eisteddfod earned her an impressive seven diplomas, each with a score of 90% and above, alongside two honours for her flute and piano performance, further solidifying her reputation as a rising star in the music community.
