Hennie du Toit said the school's growth has been amazing to watch, and promised parents continued quality education for their children in 2025.
In 2024, Glen Austin House, formerly Glen Austin High School, had its biggest Grade 12 group with 57 learners.
School principal Hennie du Toit believes this year will have close to 80 Grade 12 learners.
He said they were all excited about the Primary School being approved, and they were looking forward to receiving their first Grade R – Grade 3, and also Grade 7, learners.

“From a learner count of 34 in 2014, we are expecting the number to be 500 this year. We are looking forward to receiving our Grade 8 learners and all new learners on January 14,” said du Toit.
He said at Glen Austin House they strive to provide learners with quality education, ample activities, and opportunities to discover and improve on the best versions of themselves.

“We want to help them to prepare holistically for a bright, successful future. In this process, learners need to be active participants with the desire to always strive towards excellence in their school and personal life. Parents are encouraged to be involved with their children, invest in them emotionally, and collaborate with the school to ensure the success of their children,” he added.

Du Toit said there is no easy recipe for success. It takes hard work, being focused, and staying the course.
He concluded by saying to all their current and new learners: “Study while others are sleeping, work while others are loafing, prepare while others are playing, and dream while others are wishing.” A quote by William Arthur Ward.
