Ivory Park Taxi Association treasurer allegedly shot in Midrand this afternoon.

Newly elected Ivory Park Taxi Association (Ipta) treasurer Lefa Matemane has allegedly been shot.

The details are still sketchy at the moment, but Matemane was allegedly shot in a filling station on New Road in Midrand today (June 4).

It is also unclear if the shooting was fatal or not.

The association recently held its AGM at Gallagher Convention Centre in Halfway House, where trust, unity, and respect were preached following internal factions ahead of the meeting.
