The Brian Molapisane Foundation ends 2025 with gratitude and purpose
As the year draws to a close, the Brian Molapisane Foundation emphasises that healing, growth, and transformation do not happen overnight; they happen step by step.
2025 will go down as one of the most impactful years for the Brian Molapisane Foundation.
From emotional support to mentorship, sports, and community outreach, the foundation’s programmes have touched countless young lives in Midrand, laying strong foundations for future growth.
Across several schools in the area, the foundation hosted speak out sessions, offering boys a safe space to talk openly about depression, suicide, anger, and the pressures they face daily. For many, these conversations opened the door to early interventions, particularly for learners showing signs of suicidal thoughts.
Under the banner of the protect a boy child initiative, the foundation expanded rapidly this year, collaborating with institutions including Noordwyk Secondary School and Midrand Primary School. Dozens of boys benefited from mentorship, discipline, leadership guidance, and emotional-wellness support.

Sport also played a key role. The foundation’s football programme emerged as a major success, not just in keeping boys active and away from harmful influences, but also as a reliable fundraising tool. Community support was encouraging, tournaments drew parents, local businesses, and active community engagement.
Beyond the fields and classrooms, the foundation organised life-changing experiences, such as camps and outings focused on brotherhood, discipline, and self-confidence. A standout moment came in October, with a hiking trip to Hennops.

Founder Brian Molapisane highlighted the breadth of the foundation’s response to pressing community needs this year, from clothing drives and food support to awareness campaigns. “We are especially proud of how the community has trusted us and walked with us throughout the year.” The foundation’s efforts have not gone unnoticed. 2025 saw multiple features in local newspapers, radio interviews, and online platforms.

Looking ahead, 2026 is already shaping up to be a breakthrough year. Molapisane shared ambitious plans, including the launch of the first-ever 100 Men in Suits Fundraising Gala Dinner, a prestigious event designed to bring together influential men, entrepreneurs, community builders, and leaders under one roof. The goal: To raise funds for expanded outreach under protect a boy child, strengthen mentorship structures, and ensure no boy is left behind. “We plan to reach more schools, increase our sessions, and add more facilitators to ensure every boy receives guidance, mentorship, and emotional support.” New initiatives will include a dedicated speak-out hotline, more camps, hikes, leadership programmes, and hands-on skill-building, such as baking sessions, extra maths lessons, and creative workshops.
Longer-term ambitions include building stronger school partnerships, scaling up football and sports development, launching a protect a girl child chapter, forging corporate partnerships, and deepening community engagement. “Our vision for 2026 is to save more lives, shape more futures, and build a stronger community… One child at a time.”
He offered heartfelt thanks to supporters, partner schools, local businesses, such as Engen Lever Road and Pick n Pay Blue Hills, community organisations, like RiseUp Hub Community Forum, and every individual who walked the journey with them in 2025. “May the New Year bring peace, protection, and purpose to every young person in our community. Let us continue building a generation that speaks out, rises above challenges, and walks with courage. One child at a time.”
