Rabie Ridge police are still on the hunt for a 30-year-old man who allegedly killed his teenage girlfriend.
The Rabie Ridge police are looking for a 30-year-old suspect for the murder of his 17-year-old girlfriend, which took place in Mayibuye on September 2. The suspect has been on the run since.
Ekurhuleni police spokesperson Captain Neldah Sekgobela said on the night of September 1, the suspect’s landlord overheard a fight between the couple.

Sekgobela said the landlord went to check on the couple, who were quarrelling.
“The landlord told them to stop fighting, and that they must sleep and resolve their matter in the morning. Then, on Tuesday [September 2], at around 10:00, the landlord checked with them again. She became suspicious, because she never heard them go to work. It was so quiet.”
Sekgobela said the landlord knocked on the door, but received no response. “The landlord then broke down the door and found the woman dead on the bed.”
That’s when the landlord realised that the suspect must have killed his girlfriend.
Police are investigating a case of murder, and are on the hunt for the alleged murderer.
