Suspect nabbed for possession of live ammunition in Ivory Park

The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department Northern Region Task Team officers arrested one male suspect for possession of live ammunition in the Ivory Park area.

Following information from a reliable source about an individual in possession of live ammunition, officers proceeded to the Themba Khoza informal settlement on October 3, where a 37-year-old man was found in the vicinity.
A search was conducted, and 31 rounds of live ammunition were discovered in a plastic bag.
The suspect was arrested and detained at the Ivory Park Police Station. A case of possession of live ammunition was registered, and he will appear in the Thembisa Magistrates’ Court soon.
