Midrand non-profit aims to collect 200 blankets for those in need
Founder of Connect to Feed Upama Srivastava says Basas unwavering support is truly appreciated, and it will make a significant difference in helping the less fortunate stay warm this winter.
As the winter season is fast approaching, the local NPO Connect to Feed is collecting blankets for those in need.
Bengali Association of South Africa-NPC (Basa) donated 30 blankets to the cause. Connect to Feed founder Upama Srivastava said, “I thank Basa for generously sponsoring blankets. Their unwavering support is appreciated, and it will make a significant difference in helping the less fortunate stay warm this winter.”

She added their target for the next drive on May 19 at the Shree Radhe Shyam Mandir in Sandton was to collect 200 blankets or more.

Basa president and director Gourish Chakravorty said they were happy to support this noble cause.
