Midrand, Tembisa, and surrounding residents are invited to a 5km fun run
The run is hosted by The Love Trust and Nokhuphila School to provide an unforgettable day of colour, exercise, fun, music, education, and community spirit.
The Love Trust and Nokuphila School invites residents to take part in a family-friendly, colour burst fun run on March 29.
This 5km run will take place from 09:30 at Nokuphila in President Park. The event aims to bring an unforgettable day of colour, exercise, fun, music, education, and community spirit.
Each step supports The Love Trust’s mission to provide quality, value-driven education to disadvantaged children in Midrand, Tembisa, and surroundings.

Nokuphila Teacher Training Academy provides education and social care to more than 400 disadvantaged children and has impacted
20 000 teachers and learners.
Charmaine Plogmann, Love Trust director of fundraising, said this fun run was an event for the entire family. “The aim is not only to raise funds for our ongoing education programmes but also to highlight the value of equality education as a catalyst and force for good, along with the role we all can play in restoring community systems in South Africa.”

After crossing the finish line there will be food stalls and music, so locals are encouraged to also bring camp chairs, picnic blankets, and sunscreens to name a few.
“Join us for a fun day and be part of something bigger,” added Plogmann.
Locals can register via Quicket, and U13 children’s registration cost R30, and R50, while adults’ registration cost R100, and R60.
