The Love Trust organisation gives back to the community

Participants walked or ran the course more than once, eager to get more colour onto themselves, getting a splash of colour every few meters

The Love Trust organisation hosted its Colour Fun Run and Colour Blast 5km run at Nokuphila School on March 29.

The school opened its doors to their learners, parents and those in support of the organisation. The event was not only aimed at raising funds for the school but also at bringing the Midrand community together and having fun.

Runners were splashed with colour powders while they passed, and afterwards, learners delivered an outstanding dance performance.

Learners were also part of the vendors who raised funds for their school by selling goods.

The CEO of The Love Trust, Erik van den Top said, “As an organisation that relies solely on donor funding, Love Trust recognises that the success of the event is also due to the support received from some of our long-time partners such as Mix 93.8fm and some new relationships such as Green Rake Group. We are eternally grateful for the partnerships we have forged and look forward to long-lasting relationships with all.”
