The IIE’s Varsity College Waterfall raises R2 300 for Reach For A Dream Slipper Day

Through their collective efforts, the campus successfully sold a remarkable total of 115 stickers, ultimately raising R2 300 to support the inspiring mission of the Reach For A Dream Foundation.

Recently, some staff and students at The IIE’s Varsity College Waterfall campus participated in a heartwarming initiative, Slipper Day, where many wore their favourite slippers to support a noble cause.

Slipper Day, held on May 30, is an annual fundraising event organised by Reach For A Dream. This initiative aims raise money to assist children facing life-threatening illnesses by helping to fulfil their wishes and dreams.

The Waterfall campus contributed by selling Slipper Day stickers to staff and students, showcasing their commitment to supporting the dreams of these courageous children.

Nzulu Skosana, the student wellness specialist at the campus, shared that they set an ambitious target for this year’s initiative, aiming to raise R2 000 through their sales efforts.

“We successfully sold 115 stickers, raising a total of R2 300 to contribute to the inspiring mission of the Reach for a Dream Foundation,” said Skosana. “Thank you to everyone who supported this remarkable cause. We are proud to have made a positive impact in the lives of those who desperately need it.”
