Something Different Live Sessions promises Art’s Galore at Easter event
Tembisa-born rapper Siboniso 'Raptyl' Cebekhulu and his crew, Skhanda Nation, are set to make a powerful comeback with fresh, unreleased music at Something Bunny this Easter weekend.
Something Different Live Sessions presents Something Bunny on April 4, at Gata Lenna (GT Lifestyle) in Thembisa.
This event promises an exciting day filled with music, poetry, art, and community vibes, bringing together artists and fans for an unforgettable experience. Siboniso Cebekhulu, known as Raptyl, shared his enthusiasm about Skhanda Nation’s return at the event. “The timing is perfect. Skhanda Nation was born in Tembisa, and it’s been quiet for a while.
“Now that we’re back in the studio working on new music, it’s the right moment to perform it on a platform like this.”
He praised the organisers, highlighting that Something Different Live Sessions is one of the few platforms that truly support artists from the hood. “It’s the only event that gives artists from Tembisa a proper stage.”

Fans can look forward to an unforgettable experience with good music, lively performances, and a vibrant atmosphere. “They’ll enjoy new tracks and see their favorite rappers live. They’ll also get to hear new music by Skhanda Nation first-hand, tracks that haven’t been performed anywhere else. It’s going to be a different experience, and everyone should come and see the difference.”

The group plans to perform unreleased material from a project scheduled for release in June. “We’re bringing fresh songs and surprises. There’s always something unexpected when we perform.”
He highlighted the importance of community support for township artists. “For artists like us, it’s vital to support these events. We understand what it takes to grow. These events help us measure our progress and stay connected to our roots.”
