Joburg EMS has confirmed that two occupants were injured after a light aircraft crashed into a business complex in Randjesfontein, Midrand, on Tuesday.

Two occupants sustained injuries after a light aircraft crashed into a business complex in Randjesfontein, Midrand, on Tuesday, September 8. The aircraft crashed along Old Pretoria Main Road (R101) and New Road.

Joburg EMS spokesperson Kagiso Phasha confirmed the incident, stating that private ambulance services were treating the injured occupants at the scene.

“There is a light aircraft crash into a business complex in Randjesfontein on Old Pretoria Main Road (R101) and New Road. At this stage, two occupants have sustained injuries,” said Phasha.

He added that Grand Central Fire and Rescue Services and the South African Police Service were also in attendance. “Relevant authorities will be investigating the crash.”
