Co-headed by Pastor Ashley Naidoo of Kingdom Unity Fellowship Church Midrand and Pastor Ashena Naidoo, the collaborative event seamlessly blended joyful celebration with practical, life-changing education.

As part of the day’s empowering itinerary, the foundation sponsored a vital self-defence class. The sessions were led directly by expert teacher and martial arts instructor Nayashen Naidoo of DragonPalm Martial Arts.

Attendees stepped up enthusiastically, learning foundational physical awareness, safety strategies, and defensive manoeuvres designed to build personal confidence and real-world resilience on Gauteng’s streets.

Pastor Ashena Naidoo said the focus shifted towards economic independence and vocational training under the Skills to Grow branch of the programme.

“With the warm summer days fast approaching, the Woman of Dominion team treated guests to an interactive milkshake-making class,” she said.

“This hands-on workshop focused on more than just creating delicious treats; it served as a practical business incubator. The training aimed to spark entrepreneurial spirits, providing participants with the fundamental skills required to launch their own local pop-up milkshake businesses just in time for the busy summer season.”

Beyond the training blocks, the event was a celebration of community spirit, filled with continuous laughter, learning, and meaningful connection. The high-energy atmosphere was amplified by music and media production supplied by Adenike ‘DJ Assurance’ Adenrele, keeping spirits soaring and feet moving throughout the venue.

“The day successfully reinforced a shared vision for Africa’s future: building deep unity, fostering community support, and handing individuals the precise toolkits they need to rise, grow, and thrive,” she concluded.
