Road repairs a surprise

Thembisile Nyathi writes:

I remember how hot everyone got over the potholes being fixed, now that Johannesburg Roads Agency has fixed most of the roads in Midrand, there is silence.

I was one of the people who complained the most, but I want to say thank you to the roads agency, driving on the roads has become a slightly easier experience.

We still have a problem with some roads that lead to plot and agricultural zoned areas. The roads require 4x4s – if you have a smaller car you will spend a fortune on car repairs.

Most of the traffic lights seem to fall victim to cable theft and quite a number of them have been dug out – this is an inconvenience to motorists.
