Summerhill School SA cricketer gets his Lions Regional U11 cricket team call-up

Summerhill School SA is thrilled to announce that talented young learner Rishik Vadlamuri has been selected for the prestigious Lions Regional U11 cricket team.

The call-up resulted from the Grade 5 cricket player’s outstanding performance in the highly competitive Joburg Far North tournament.

Rishik truly shone during the tournament, demonstrating his cricketing prowess and his efforts earned him the well-deserved opportunity to represent the Lions Regional U11 team. Notably, he scored an impressive 109 off just 57 balls which included 15 fours and six sixes in a school U11 cricket match against Crawford Fourways.

As excitement builds, the Lions Regional tournament is scheduled to take place from November 30 to December 3, and it promises to be an exhilarating experience for all participants involved.
