Out of a field of 207 runners who competed in Masupa's age category, he emerged as the victor.

Midrand Striders’ Ntshengedzeni Masupa showcased his running skills by winning the 50-59 Age Category in the prestigious Balwin Sport Jeppe Marathon on February 9.

This popular annual road race winds its way through the vibrant streets of Johannesburg. Its popularity stems from its meticulously planned route and the inclusive atmosphere it cultivates, drawing participants from diverse backgrounds and skill levels.

Every year, the marathon attracts a multitude of runners, ranging from seasoned elite athletes striving for personal bests to enthusiastic amateur runners eager to challenge their physical limits and experience the thrill of competition.
