Unknown men shot mum dead and injured her kids
The mum and her three children who were found warming themselves in an open fire at their home in Zwelisha.
PIENAAR – The local police are still on the look out for unknown suspects who shot dead a 51-year-old mum and injured her two children over the weekend.
This barbaric incident happened on Friday night around 21.00 whereby the armed men attacked the mother and her three children who were found warming themselves in an open fire at their home in Zwelisha.
According to police, the men ordered the victims to lie face-down and the woman was shot on the head while two of her children aged 16 and 13 were shot on the legs and arms when they tried to flee the scene. The other child was left unharmed.
“The mother died on her way to hospital while her two children are still undergoing treatment at Themba hospital,” added Ndubane.
The suspects are still at large. This incident followed the recent shooting of an ANC deputy chairperson of Nkomeni section in Pienaar Zane Phelembe a week ago. No one has been arrested for his murder as well.
