32 year-old man arrested for stealing a transformer
The suspect was found in possession of suspected stolen Eskom's transformer worth R20 000.
MBOMBELA – Members of the Hawks Serious Organised Crime unit in Mbombela arrested a 32 year-old man in connection with the theft.
According to Hawks spokesperson in Mbombela Capt Dineo Sekgotodi the suspect was found in possession of a suspected stolen Eskom’s transformer worth R20 000.
The transformer was supposedly stolen from Eskom’s premises in Shimungu,Lillydale.
The suspect was arrested on November 3 and briefly appeared before the Mhala Magistrate Court on today. More details will follow.
