19 year old man arrested for stabbing his friend to death

THULAMAHASHE – A 19-year-old man was arrested for the murder of his 27-year-old friend.

According to Capt Gugu Phiri the suspect stabbed his friend allegedly after an argument between the two at Hlukuvani over the weekend.

The deceased was certified dead on arrival at the local clinic.
The suspect briefly appeared before Mhala Magistrate’s Court on March 20.
Other eight suspects arrested between March 17 and March 19 appeared before the same court on charges ranging from murder, abduction, public drinking and possession of dagga and were released on fine.
