Nigerian man found with stolen debit cards

He was found with many Standard Bank debit cards, which were stolen while couriered to be delivered to the bank.

Yesterday White River police arrested a Nigerian national who was found in possession of many debit bank cards.
According to Col Mary Ngomane, the local station commander, the suspect was arrested near Nedbank during a stop and search.

“He was found with many Standard Bank debit cards, we checked and found that they were stolen while couriered to be delivered to the bank; they had dates on when they were supposed to be delivered,“ she said.

“The matter had been transferred to the SAPS Commercial Crime unit for further investigations,” she said. The suspect will appear in court soon.
