Investigator arrested for fraud
It is alleged that in 2014, Ngwenyama allegedly defrauded his employer by submitting fraudulent kilometres for official trips.
An investigator for the Independent Police Investigation Directorate(IPID) appeared before the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday on charges of fraud.
Jabu Elkum Ngwenyama (44), is alleged to have claimed over R20 000 for claims. Ngwenyama has been granted R3000 bail and is expected to make a follow up court appearance on May 24, 2018.
