#JusticeForNaledi: Body found with a knife stuck in her neck
Police say the motive behind the gruesome murder is unknown but the suspect briefly appeared in court yesterday.
Social media is abuzz with users rallying behind #JusticeForNaledi after 21-year-old Naledi Arcelia Lethoba body was found mutilated with her face burnt, her breasts cut off and burn wounds in her lower body in Welkom, Free State.
Her body was discovered by a passerby on May 19 in an open field. According to police spokesperson, Kethabile Mofokeng the suspect who appeared briefly in Welkom Magistrate Court and the case was postponed to June 14 for a formal bail hearing yesterday. Lethoba was a student in Goldfields TVET College Welkom.
