Trio accused of rhino horn theft remanded in custody

The rhino horns are estimated to the value of R6 million.

KABOKWENI – Three suspects who were arrested for being in possession of rhino horns were remanded in custody today after being formerly charged.

The suspects, Martin Prince Lekhuleni (35), Banele Georgina Nyalunga(24) and Sipho Alfred Nyundu (36) were arrested last Friday for dealing in rhino horns estimated to the value of  R6 million.

The case has been postponed to tomorrow for a formal bail application.
