Riders converge to the province

Tickets for the pre-party start at R100 and R500 for VIPs and R150 to R600 for VIP for the Saturday gig.

MBOMBELA – Over 2 000 riders from around the country will converge to the province during the annual Metro FM Mpumalanga Charity Run.

Scheduled to take place from November 22 – 24, this three days marathon fun filled event sponsored by the country’s biggest commercial radio station, Metro FM, Ziyaphenduka Promotions and Big Five Harley Davidson, will see a total of 27 charities from around the province given a financial boost.

Speaking during the official launch of this charity event, Ziyaphenduka Promotions CEO, Mr Bruce Kgapane thoroughly and carefully explain the idea behind this first of its kind event in the province, saying that it will not only be an entertainment platform but a way of raising funds for the needy.

“The event kick-start on Thursday, November 21, with Metro FM broadcasting live at the Five Harley Davidson outlet, followed by a pre-party on November 22, at the same venue where Metro FM will again be broadcasting live from.

And on Saturday, November 23, the mass ride will take place with riders touring Sabbi, Graskop and will also touch down to Kanyamazane and Kabokweni. From there all roads will lead to the Mbombela stadium for the after party which will feature top DJs such as Sbu, Oskido Shabba and many more.

On Sunday, November 24, the on demand band, The Soil On Sunday, Eddie Zondi, Wilson B Nkosi and Sweet Mike will close proceedings at the Botanical Gardens,” outline Kgapane.

He said tickets for the pre-party start at R100 and R500 for VIPs and R150 to R600 for VIP for the Saturday gig.

Then on Sunday all tickets are sold at R150.

“We unfortunately have limited tickets so I would like to plead with those who want to be part of our shows to buy tickets as early as possible,” he warned.
