Cosatu reaffirms its support for the ANC

MBOMBELA – The COSATU president, Mr S’dumo Dlamini told thousands of ANC supporters gathered at the Mbombela stadium for the 102 years celebration and the manifesto launch that this organisation, COSATU is not for sale.

Dlamini said this statement following the infighting within this organisation and NUMSA who wants to break-away from the ANC and COSATU.

“COSATU is not for sale and we will not sell and we want to reaffirm you that we will always support the ANC,” he said.

Also speaking here was Mr Blade Nzimande, the SACP boss and minister of higher education and training, who said that the matric Class of 2013 has proven all the critics wrong that Africans can pass with flying colours.

“The white minority have been saying we can’t do it but our children have proven them wrong, that we are capable.

The results of our children speak volumes,” he said
