Metropolitan takes financial advice to another level

Equipping the community with financial tool, health advice, savings, budgeting and debt advice took centre stage when Metropolitan hosted two wellness workshops in the Nelspruit area recently.

MBOMBELA – Equipping the community with financial tool, health advice, savings, budgeting and debt advice took centre stage when Metropolitan hosted two wellness workshops in the Nelspruit area recently.

The Civic Centre was surrounded with a fun environment on June 7 and at Mbombela Stadium on June 14.

Spearheading the focus on cancer screening, health experts highlighted the importance of regular medical check-ups, with simple yet effective home exercise tips.

According to Metropolitan, this is in a bid to drive financial education within local communities. “The day was all about providing communities with financial and wellness advice, in a fun environment, with the ultimate goal of empowering individuals to confidently shape their future,” said Brand Experience Manager at Metropolitan, Ntombi Mponda.

Hosted by Radio and TV personality, Penny Lebyane, as MC for both events, and various health experts and financial advisors were available throughout the day to provide information to the attendees.

“The event was a great success and everything went ahead as planned,” Mponda added.
According to Metropolitan, such events will take place throughout the year.
