Organisation gives food parcels to needy family

Fact Nkomazi Rocks brought a smile to the face of 53-year-old unemployed mother of nine in celebrating of their 67-minutes of Mandela Day.

NKOMAZI – Fact Nkomazi Rocks brought a smile to the face of 53-year-old unemployed mother of nine in celebrating of their 67-minutes of Mandela Day.

The group cleaned and donated food parcels and clothes to the needy Gogo Sibiya and her family of Driekoppies. She depends on the little money she gets from selling recyclable cans and from donations she receives after helping her neighbours with laundry and gardening works.

She said some would give a packet of mealie-meal or even tinned stuff for doing a simple task.

She shed tears of joy while expressing her gratitude to the organisation and wished it strength as it continues to do charitable works for the people of Nkomazi.

“Ngiyatibongela kakhulu bantwabami ngibonga Nkulunkulu ngekungiletsela nine bantwabami, ngiphindze ngibonge ne Fact Nkomazi Rocks, ngitsi ayichubekenjalo isite nalabanye” she said.

The organisation’s aim is to extend a helping hand to both young and old needy members of the community. They recently donated more than 150 shoes to needy learners of Sekusile Primary School.
