Remember to be happy

"Whatever happened in the past was a learning curve, they must forgive and carry on with life, forgiveness brings healing ".

KANYAMAZANE – Women from all walks of life were encouraged to forgive themselves for past mistakes, and live a happy and fruitful life.

This was said during a three-day Women’s Month seminar themed, “You have been bleeding for so long and your healing is now.” It was said the inner healing came from Jesus Christ himself.

Addressing the women, speaker after speaker pointed out that a majority of them consider themselves to be victims of unfortunate circumstances.

“We have a lot of women who are miserable, frustrated and going through struggles in their individual lives and their families’. We hope they will attain total deliverance and healing from their past wounds with teaching and wisdom from the Word of God,” explained the organisers of the seminar,

Past Gladys Pule who is also a marriage counsellor and founder of Seed of Hope Ministries, and Past Portia Luthuli, founder of Debora’s Women Club of Rock of Salvation Ministries.

“They must not dwell on the past, but allow new opportunities into their lives,” they said.

Women were also given tips on how to stay happy in their marriages.

“Whatever happened in the past was a learning curve, they must forgive and carry on with life, forgiveness brings healing,” Luthuli emphasised.

They urged women to seek help when they thought they needed professional counselling.

Luthuli will address hundreds of women at the Women’s Indaba in Randburg on August 30.
